How to add a document

This article walks you through how to add a document to PD Reader. To learn how to create a document, see How to create a document.

1. If you haven’t already, download PD Reader.
2. Sideload PD Reader through the website or over USB.
3. Connect your Playdate to your computer.
4. Copy your compiled document folder to your device; the location will depend on how you sideloaded PD Reader:
   • If you sideloaded over USB: Data/com.gamesrightmeow.pdreader/documents
   • If you sideloaded through the website: Data/user.12345.pdreader/documents

NOTE! The name of PD Reader’s data folder will be uniquely named based on your Playdate user account when sideloading through the website, so you’ll see a different number in the folder name. For example user.22548.pdreader, user.46879.pdreader, user.68923.pdreader, or etc.
